Mr. Ravi B. Gupta

B. Com (Hons), F.C.A. (Qualified in the year - 1994), Insolvency Professional.

Mr. Ravi B. Gupta, founding partner of Ravi B. Gupta & Co., has more than 25 years of experience in this profession. He renders specialized services in Formation and Taxation of Charitable Trusts and Institutions / Societies / Section 8 Companies. He cleared the Limited Insolvency Examination in October 2017 and has till date offered support services in Insolvency Resolution Cases. He is empaneled as a Peer Reviewer with ICAI.

He is currently an active member of the Charitable Trust, AOP, and other Artificial Persons Committee of WIRC of ICAI for the FY 2023-24. He was a member of the Insolvency & Bankruptcy Code Committee of WIRC of ICAI for the year 2022-23 and the Cooperative Societies Committee of WIRC of ICAI for the year 2020-21.

He speaks on the subject of â€œFormation and Taxation of Charitable Trusts, Foreign Contribution Regulation Act (FCRA), Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR), Social Stock Exchangeâ€ and â€œSelf Help & Positive Mental Attitudeâ€ in events organized by the ICAI through its regions, branches, study circles and other forums.

On Formation and Taxation of Charitable Trusts/Institutions/NGO's he has addressed and interacted with the Senior Officers of CAG, Income tax Department Officials, Office Bearers of Leading Educational Institutes and Medical Institutes. He has been a part of outreach programme/events organized by the Mumbai and Pune Income Tax Departments.

He contributes regularly on the subject of Taxation of Charitable Trusts / Institutions/NGO's and Maharashtra Public Trust Act, 1950 to WIRC Reference Manual's. His articles are published in newsletters of the Vasai Branch of WIRC of ICAI. He has also contributed for representations to be made to the Ministry of Law through the Charity Commissioner on Amendments to the Maharashtra Public Trust Act, 1950 and other related issues.

Mr. Suraj Gupta, a fellow chartered accountant, has amassed over 10 years of professional experience with S.R. Batliboi & Co. LLP, including 3 years as an intern. His extensive expertise spans several sectors, including:

Mrs. Anushree S. Gupta qualified as a Chartered Accountant in the year 2018 and holds a Bachelorâ€™s degree in Law. She has worked with Price Waterhouse & Co LLP for around 5.5 years in the Transfer Pricing, Direct Tax and International Taxation - Litigation team. She has handled various litigation proceedings before the Dispute Resolution Panel (DRP) and Commissioner (Appeals). She has also assisted in compliances related to transfer pricing and financial services.
